Kodak Image Viewer is included with Microsoft Windows operating systems for the viewing of image files. A vulnerability exists in Microsoft Windows Kodak image Viewer which can be exploited by malicious attackers to compromise a user's system. The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the Kodak Image Viewer when processing certain image files. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by constructing a specially crafted image that could potentially allow remote code execution if a user visited a Web site, viewed a specially crafted e-mail message, or opened an e-mail attachment.
